A Special Christmas Message from  Rev. Msgr. Harris

“You can share joy with a hopeful child.”

Hello,

This Christmas, all of us here at St. Vincent’s Services are brimming with two strong emotions- hope for the year ahead and gratitude for your support.

As you know, we care for over 900 children at SVS who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. The Christmas season is a joyful time, but it can also be a lonely time of year for our kids.

Yet every day I see the hope in their eyes. They feel gratitude, too, for the friendship your gifts express, and the joy of belonging somewhere they are loved.

I want you to know that when I sit down with our young people for Christmas dinner and we bow our heads to say grace, you are in our prayers. You are one of life’s many blessings.

Food on our table, the roof over our head and a few presents for our young ones under the tree- these are just some of the many blessings you help provide with your holiday gift to SVS.

Please take a moment now, while it’s still fresh in your mind, to share a little of your good fortune with our kids by making a year-end donation to St. Vincent’s Services.  Donate online now at our secure site.

If you recently donated to SVS, thank you very much. If you haven’t yet, or if you can do even more to help our children, please send your holiday gift by 12/31/2010 to receive the full tax-deduction for this year!

Thank you for your kind support of SVS. Our best wishes to you and your family this holiday season!

With my deepest gratitude,

 Rev. Msgr. Robert M. Harris

 President

P.S. Your generous gift helps our boys and girls excel and live up to their true God-given potential.

Thank you for everything you do.
