Once I came to St. Vincent’s I realized a lot of people cared about what I was doing. I found love here, and they encouraged me every day. All I wanted to do was go to school and play soccer, and St Vincent’s told me that they could make that happen for me. I felt like I wasn’t alone anymore, and I have friends and family here. You don’t have to be with your own parents to be happy. Thanks to SVS, I’m starting over.
